During my rant on 11/11/2004, in which I was venting my frustration with web development, I made the following statement: "Struts, JSF, tapestry, velocity, JSP are all Band-Aids for a broken paradigm." I should not have included Tapestry in that list. I assumed incorrectly that it was just another framework. It is not. If you are jaded on web development, you need to try Tapestry. It makes web development fun again. I especially like the fact that it works with HTML developers, not against them. I also should not have included Velocity in my rant, as I have not worked with. I cannot say anything pro or con about it. I stand by my statements about Struts, JSF, and JSP. I do not enjoy building web apps using an alphabet soup of technologies.
