The school bills begin.... Well, after confirming my intent to attend the MBA Program at NCSU this fall (I just clicked the button)....guess what was next...I have to pay 300 dollars to hold my spot. Oh well, I'll mail the bill next Friday. 3:28:57 PM    comment []

My GMAT Opinions I've posted some of my thoughts regarding the GMAT. Please feel free to comment : GMAT - The Good, Bad, and Ugly Have fun! 2:20:15 PM    comment [] I just got accepted! I just found out this week that I got accepted into the NCSU MBA Program. I've already started my preparations by spending a lot of time at the NCSU MBA website (http://mba.ncsu.edu). I'm also taking a look at some old MBA books I have and as always reading my BusinessWeek and Fortune magazines whenever they come in. Unfortunately my employer doesn't want to pay for my MBA(boo!!) so, as a result, I am paying for this out of my own pocket. Of course, I am willing to accept donations :) 1:36:50 PM    comment [] Pre-Application MBA Preparation Well I looked at some local business schools (Duke's Fuquay, UNC's Kenan-Flagler, and NCSU MBA Program) and decided that the MBA Program at NCSU best fits my future career goals. So after two months of studying (while working full time) I took the GMAT. In addition to all of the usual books (the ETS Practice Guide is the best) I also liked the following website www.testmagic.com. I also spent a considerable amount of time on my application (I did all three essays) and worked on my resume and all of that other stuff. I applied for early admission into the part-time program and about a month later I got accepted!!! 1:33:19 PM    comment []
