Speed Browsing!!
To monitor those sites that don't have RSS Feeds, you may want to utilize the speed browsing tool that Michael Fagan created. It is so easy. Put in as many URLs as needed, hit save, and away you go, browsing each site in succession. [Library Stuff]

Amazon Reviewers
Who has the most reviews at Amazon.com? A librarian, of course. Would someone like to explain to me why the article isn't focused on her? [Library Stuff]
I have never read Amazon reviews very seriously, but perhaps I should look more closely. Maybe it's also a place for someone like me to practice writing reviews.

I'm a sucker for lists of interesting sites, especially if the list is well-annotated. I'd like to look into the prejudice-testing sites. They might be food for discussion with students.

Is information overload hurting productivity?
From The Sydney Morning Herald: "Experts say information overload is a serious problem in many companies, adding to stress levels and resulting in a downturn in productivity (a report from Proudfoot Consulting last year found IT-related problems such as information overload - were responsible for 8 per cent of lost time.
