Waiting on the Lord Jesus --- even when waiting seems a waste of precious time---- is evidence of our faith.
God speaks to his servants when they are listening, waiting on him. Seek his guidance in all things. Don't run ahead of his timing. Learn to wait before him in reverent worship and adoration. Pray tthrough the night and on through the day when you are striving toward a decision.
If the Lord God wills you to listen to him, and yet you don't make a time to listen to him---- he can overrule your circumstances to provide the necesssary quiet, as he did for his servants in time past. His voice, what would it be worth to you to hear his voice? Everything you own; what would it be worth to you--- to be his person of special concern?----you take a moment and answer the question?
Are you ready to pray? unable to think of the appropriate words to address your god. Try this: offer him silence. Wordlessly, earnestly, with childlike hope, seek guidance and a confirmation of Elohim's presence. No revelation came; there was no reassuring voice, no soul-satisfying vision. But there did well up inside of you a strength that enabled you to endure the present situation, a consuming desire to see beyond it, and a certainty that there is yet something to strive for--to become. You experience an energizing comfort---- a sweet joy---- in just meditating on the one true God. God understands wordless prayers, desolate longing and the desperate need of a new beginning.
This one thing I know that God is with me/ Have a good day and don't forget who gave it to you.
