ö I blog to provide results in image searches, DUH! what else? Here's the list of root.cellar's last 20 "referrals", where the visitors are coming from. This isn't anomalous but typical. If I went through the last 100, 500, or 1000, it would be the same. This may be a testament to giving proper ALT tags to images, but after 2,962 posts since April 26th, 2003, perhaps you can see why, a third of the way through a month, this is only the fourth post instead of the old-time 20-25 in 10 days. I've known this for a couple of years, so maybe it's a testament to my stubbornness, or just plain DUH! This blog averages 333 "page views" a day. I started the Sitemeter count on August 6, 2003 and have had 268,754 page views since, but the average visit length is only 33 seconds.
