LISP Resurgence
As much as I'd love to see a resurgence in LISP there
are two practical considerations (at least) that seem
to prevent it:

- Intrinsic support on majority of platforms
(Java sort of has this problem as it is and it had a much
bigger push than LISP ever did)
- Writing good LISP programs is hard.  It's the old
efficiency problem.  I've seen many an average programmer
  write terrible LISP programs.

Until there's a way around those problems I don't have high
hopes for LISP ever entering the mainstream (more so than it
already has).
