Discrimination networks and production systems Discrimination networks still don't seem right to me for generalized logic systems such as JLS.  It seems as though only some logic might benefit.  And even then only specific logic instances.  Furthermore, the complexity of managing the net for those logics that might benefit vs. those that don't as well as logical support seems more prohibitive than simply having smart triggering and directly re-evaluating logic that is affected.  And all that without even addressing the memory overhead especially in high-volume short session oriented environments. Researching how to integate Blogs into JLS.  Subscribing to a feed seems simple enough - just point to an rss.xml.  But how to publish?  Presumably there are two pieces.  An item and updating an rss.xml.  Keeping it at that level seems the most general but not necessarily the most accessible by a JLS author.  Have to dig a bit deeper yet (only just started playing with the clients today). 6:55:57 PM    comment []
