As I do each year, I finally got hold of the AFL Record Guide to Season 2006 (ISBN 0975796402).

It took a lot of searching until I tracked down a copy at the Angus and Robertson store in Chatswood Westfield. It was the only one in the store.

The AFL Record Guide to Season 2006 is the bible of stats with information about almost everything AFL.

Each year, the book gets bigger. This edition has 16 more pages than last year, with 866 pages, but it's slimmer, due to lighter weight paper.Pretty cool.

This year, the publishers have added a new element - the ability to email corrections back to them. There's a bunch of updates already posted online

My AFL Guide sits in a "special place" in my house and it gets read every day.

Can't wait for the season to start.
