Adventures with Orkut
So, its been 2 weeks since I started with Orkut, and a few things have changed since my last update. These are the stats: I am connected to 39457 people through 34 friends, and I have another 20 people who I have invited, but who haven't responded. I've noticed that a bunch of invites I sent last week have just gotten through, so I expect there is lots of email backed up. Some other stats: profile views: 126, average path: 3.7, number of friends: 55. These are interesting, but there should be some other pieces of data, like number of degress to orkut himself. I can see the communities and bulletin boards, but i would like to see more - like suggestion people who are similar, suggestion communities to join, even recommending music,movies or books based on interests, etc. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Orkut
A very kind soul, Aaron Cooper, invited me to join Orkut, after I asked him nicely - What a Guy! So, I'm finally hanging out with the cool kids. Feels nice. I am now connected to 15364 people through 8 friends. If anyone of of my readers wants to join Orkut, just leave me a comment and I'll see what I can do! I need all the friends I can get
