Vandaag wat verder geshopt en we zijn eindelijk klaar. Wat een gedoe zeg! Heb ik jullie al verteld dat het vandaag heeft geregend....jah, wat motregen...maar desondanks was het wel aangenaam warm. Toen we terugkwamen van het shoppen, was Kathy's moeder gearriveerd. Mabel is een 95-jarige vrouw die wat dover is geworden dan vorig jaar en ze loopt tegenwoordig met een stok...maar ja, hallooooo, ze is 95! Het is een heel aardige vrouw die nog steeds lekker met haar make-up speelt en wel wat tips kan geven aan Miss Ginger! ;o) Vanmiddag zijn we samen met Kathy naar Dwight en Gordon geweest om de befaamde koffie-cake van Kathy af te leveren. Deze twee mannen wonen in een giga-giga-giga huis in Laguna Beach en zijn multi-multi-multi miljonair. Dit huis is zo ongelovelijk mooi en groot. Als ik jullie zeg dat we door een butler werden bediend, dan begrijp je ongeveer wel hoe het er helemaal uitzag. Ze zijn van het kaliber Patricia en Adam Curry, maar dan in homo-uitvoering... Dwight is al dertig jaar bevriend met Jim, ze hebben elkaar tijdens zaken ontmoet! Het zijn heel aardige mensen...goh, wij hebben dit jaar echt veel mensen ontmoet! Maar goed, toen we daarna naar huis terug gingen was Tarryn (Shanna's zus) ook gearriveerd en we hebben met z'n allen lekker gegeten, chilli, en lekker geouwehoerd! Het was een gezellige avond. Morgen is weer een relaxte dag, maar vanaf de avond wordt het spannend, dan is het christmas Eve. We zullen zien wat morgen brengt, nu ga ik naar bed!
Today we've been doing some more shopping and guess what, we're finally finished!... It rained today, not too much...but it wasn't cool at all. When we got back, Kathys mom Mabel arrived... She's changed a lot since we saw her last, but hey she's 95...I think she looks amazing for someone of that age! Well, after helping Mabel getting all her things in the house we, Peter, Kathy and myself went to see Dwight and Gordon up in their big mansion in Laguna Beach. We're delivering the famous Mrs.Smith's coffeecake! Well, I tell ya, this house is so amazing and beautiful...undiscribeble... Well Dwight and Gordon are loaded, that's for sure, but that's not the major thing, they don't flaunt it! ;o) This we're such amazing people, we hit it of right away...at least that's what my feeling said. Well, after a wine and some talking, we had to go, 'cause they had to go to a dinner and we had to go home. Meanwhile Tarryn had arrived and we met each other again after a year and a half. We had some nice conversations with Mabel and Tarryn. Well, today was also our first day that we had Chilli... Well, I can tell you it tastes jummy. And it's so easy to make. We loved it! ;o) Well, it's gonna be a busy day tomorrow, so I'm gonna go to bed...
