About This Site

The objective of this blog is to provide a single place to document and comment on innovations in information technology that appear to have value in improving the implementation of public safety and integrated justice information systems.  The major topics will focus on disruptive technologies (those technologies that can change the fundamental paradigm of how agencies operate).  The site will provide both a place for publishing commentary on such technologies and a space for readers to comment on the commentary in the hopes that more of an intellectual community can prosper through the exchange of knowledge about the exciting changes that we encounter every day in the world of information system technology.

This site has been created under the premise that sharing knowledge is more important than owning it, and there are no restrictions on comments or contributions.  All contributions will be posted and the author recognized.  In this author’s opinion, there is no one who knows all there is to know about this topic, and all contributions to the shared knowledge base are welcome.
