IT IS AN ADDICTION The Surgeon General has warned that MMORPG's are fiercely addictive. Failing to show up for an online event may cause nervous twitching of the hands, rapid eye movements, and the intense urge to sit at your computer and eat pizza.
As someone who is fairly conscious of what he eats... MMORPG's make me give in to that inner hunger to eat poorly. I fight this daily, and usually manage to sneak by unscathed. Unfortunately last night wasn't one of those evenings. I reached for the phone at 3pm, and made the call. Doh!, they're not open till 4pm. Fighting the intense urge to drink Coke (and I'm pleased to say that I haven't had a Coke in months), I decided to fill my stomach with water. As much as possible. Doh! That means I'll have to get up from the computer and run to the washroom. What will happen to my avatar if he gets attacked by a Tusken Raider near Jabba's Palace? Oh, the horror. I know, I'll pee in the cup. (for all my friends, that didn't happen... but I admit that I've contemplated it once or twice to avoid the chance of dying. Oh, c'mon, secretly you all have!)
Where the fuck am I going with this anyway?
I know, all my friends have called and said that I'm behind in my writing. Hence, this drivel. It is all your fault!
So, back to 4pm. I made the call, and ordered my pizza. It arrives, and they messed up the order. I ended up with two pizzas, 40 chicken wings, and fries! Wow, I could last a few days at my desk on all this. Which leads me back to my original comment... that these games make you eat poorly. Still don't know where I'm going with this ramble.
Oh yeah, did I mention that these games are addictive? I feel the twitch...
