tue 9 march studying the code base of edutella (link) -- significant changes to be made in order to re-compile the code under v2.2 or v2.3 -- also interested in the jxta search approach (link), in comparison to an ontology-based approach to resource (advertisement) discovery * my final app/service should and will be webstart enabled (link) -- current webstart enabled jxta apps: the shell (click here to start), myjxta2.2a (click here to start) and the go tournament game client (click here to start) ** unrelated to the above: jxcube (link) could be an interesting alternative to groove (link) for peerware -- will test run it one of these days 6:43:14 PM     mon 8 march successfully compiled v2.2 (link) of the jxta protocols on my laptop -- successfully ran some of the tutorials (link) (bidipipe, sockets, ...) in the official release -- next stable release will be v2.3 in mid-march (link) 6:34:59 PM     work progress -- ERIC laboratory, lyon (mid-february to mid-june 2004) check this space for reports, files and such.. many posts to follow 6:26:05 PM
