1. If you had to choose an alias, what would it be? I have one and for now it suits me.
2. Where were you on 9/11? At home, hanging out with TLG. Once we realized what was going on, some mama friends and their wee ones came over.
3. What is your ideal vacation? Haven't taken enough of them to have a favorite or ideal yet. I just wish we took more of them.
4. How many first cousins do you have? Six.
5. How do you take your pizza? Any and all vetgetables except green pepper. I especially like spinach and black olives. If it's going to have meat then the only one I like is pepperoni.
6. If you could be fluent in any foreign language (that you are not already) what would it be? The practical side of me says Spanish. The part of me that wants to visit Africa again someday says French. The complete romantic in me says Italian. The nostalgic part of me says Yiddish.
7. What is your favorite website? Too many ones I visit daily to have a favorite.
8. If you could experience another era of history, which would it be? The future. [I know -- that is kind of cheating...]
9. What is your favorite genre of movies? Excellently done adventure and sci-fi [Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Matrix etc...] and excellent thrillers.
10. If you could have any one superpower, what would it be? To fly like Superman. My favorite dreams at night are when I can fly.
11. Can you whistle? No. :(
12. If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be? Either a dolphin or a bird of prey. The first because I am really curious as to how smart they really are. The second because I would love to fly.
13. Who is your favorite fictional character? I can't pick just one. I really liked the heroine, Friday, in Heinlein's novel of the same name. I was really found of Quentin in Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury. And I adore Shakespeare's King Lear.
14. Star Wars or Star Trek? is neither an option? Star Wars
15. What is your favorite beverage? Coca-Cola.
16. What brand of toothpaste do you use? Sensodyne Extra Whitening
17. What is your favorite professional sports team? Back in the Gibbs' era it was the 'Skins. Now I simply couldn't care less about any of them.
18. Are you "indoorsy" or "outdoorsy"? I am quoting Dawn verbatim because it is exactly true of me:
I like to think of myself of outdoorsy but it's all lies. I don't like bugs, heat or extreme cold. I tell you what, I like to be inside but I like windows. That way I can fool myself into thinking that I'm appreciative of nature and not just in theory.
19. What is your earliest childhood memory? Not sure ...
20. If you could play any musical instrument, what would it be? Piano or Cello.
21. What's your favorite accent? When I was a kid it was definitely English. When I was in the hospital at age 8 for a complicated elbow break, an English gentleman was visiting someone in the same room. I asked him to come talk to me for a few minutes just because I loved the sound of his voice. Now I am kind of partial to an Aussie accent and I also like an Irish one. And I like to play at a Russian one.
22. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Lawyer, Writer, Actress. Never thought about getting married or having kids.
23. Are you a dog person or a cat person? Used to be a dog person. Then a cat person. We had both. Then I had a kid and I started to find taking care of our pets kind of a pain. So now I am not sure. And after watching countless hours of Animal Planet with Jeff Corwin and Steve Irwin I am now really into the idea of snakes.
24. If they were making a movie or TV show of your life, who would you choose to play you?

25. What is your favorite element (earth, fire, water or air)? I don't even really understand this question ...
26. If you could compete in any event in the Olympics (summer or winter) what would it be? Don't know and don't care
27. What is your favorite Sunday comic strip? Doonesbury
28. What kind of music do you listen to? Classical or Blues or Women singer/songwriters.
29. What is your favorite breakfast cereal? Frosted Flakes. But I don't keep it in the house because it's basically vitamin-fortified candy and TLG would devour it.
30. What is your worst habit? Not picking up after myself.
