Urban Educ8r: A Wickerblog
This weblog is dedicated primarily to the discussion of Education issues and policies, as well as to chronicling the author's experiences as an inner-city school teacher. These days, the education discussion is too much in the hands of misinformed politicians merely doing what they need to gain re-election, and not enough in the hands of knowledgable professionals with first hand experience.

I've been singing that line from the Alice Cooper song all afternoon. Today was the last teacher work day of the year, so glory hallelujah, we're free for a couple of months. With the typical busyness of the school year, I have had little time to blog this year, but have had much I've wanted to blog about. Maybe the free time of summer will afford me time to tap the keys a little bit more often in the next couple of months. But for now, it's kick the feet up, toss the hands in the air, and sing.
