Japan-Airliner Mishap UPDATED At least 49 passengers and flight crew injured when EVA Air Flight 2196 hit air turbulence on a flight from Taiwan. Several dozen have been taken by ambulance to hospitals in Chiba after the Airbus A330 made an emergency landing at NRT. Passengers disembarking at Narita described a scene of chaos aboard the flight -- those not wearing their seat belts hit the ceiling, oxygen masks dropped, children tearfully shrieked and adults were also terrified. 2005.03.28
