China seeks
to contain anti-Japan rage with large-scale protests planned in major
cities this weekend, prompting Japan and the United States to issue
urgent alerts for their citizens to be careful.

CUC comptroller Sohale Samari said at least $1 million of the $4 million outstanding balance has been “identified.” He expressed hope that the Department of Finance would be able to come up with additional funding or negotiate for a better deal to release the fuel shipment, which is supposed to have been delivered as early as Tuesday.
