When Blogdigger parses your RSS feed, it also extracts links from the
HTML content, and stores them in the database (this also powers out
link search feature, which let's you see who links to who). Blogdigger
News takes those links and analyzes them to see what is the most
popular. (source)
Sounds like a Blogdex-technique, only now powered by RSS.
