Dave Winer: "It's never been a problem in Radio's aggregator, it knows if it has seen an item before and if it has, it doesn't present it to the user. I gather some reading software isn't keeping track of what they've already shown the user. This is not a bug in the feeds as some people believe, rather a missing feature in the aggregator."

Sometimes, a feed keeps showing up on the News page in Radio. I have this a lot with two of the Manila driven Harvard Law blogs I'm subscribed to, the BloggerCon and Tech feeds. Every now and then, the entire feed shows up, while there's actually not one new message in there.

Can the missing of a timestamp be the cause of that?
