there was HTML- and this post has nothing to do with any of that nonsense...
Welcome to the first day of the rest of this blog. I'm am very excited and anxious to be trying out such a radical assignment- [of course there was no way I was going to write another (boring 2000+ words) research paper- which are obviously really exciting and stimulating and all that good stuff...] However, I believe that keeping a daily account of my discoveries on this topic will provide an enjoyable, yet professional view on the topic, rather than just a boring one with far too much text... eh hem... i mean stimulating and fascinating one. right.
I will not be "officially" starting the experiment until Monday September 22nd, and it will run Monday through Friday, a few entries a week, for one month (yes, I do enjoy my weekend breaks from the blank-face-gaze I so graciously give to my computer more often that not- more than my boyfriend who truly deserves it- my time that is, not the gaze... hahaha...). Actually, I will most likely be doing more work than just on the weekdays, but this will highly depends on the reliability of the fabulous Eastern internet system. Which more often then not, is down. (For a great song about the system being down, click here... and watch the fabulous toon- watch until the end, and download the song on your pc or mac for ultimate strong bad experience.)
The blog project will "officially" end on October 17th, however, if you are convinced that I am a brilliant genius and should continue on with my witty and intellectually stimulating blogs, then by all means, comment- or rather, compliment- away. And if your compliments are convincing enough, then maybe I'll con my parents into paying the $40 fee for this fabulous blog. It's sad that this is only free for 30 days. So sad.
If, however, you conclude that I ramble too much (which is true), am verbose (also very true), repeat ideas with no logical point (i tend to do this frequently as well), or you simply just can't stomach my occasional dry and/or semi-cynical humor, well, there is an "X" icon in the upper right corner for you miss (or mister. yes I will attempt to keep this blog gender friendly for all the Y chromosomes out there...). *Please note that nothing in the last sentence is applicable to my professor... just in case you were about to click that "X" Professor Van...*
Also, I am taking Spanish this semester. Spanish 102 in fact, which means that I am using more than just "ser", "estar" and "hola"! SO EXCITING. So, I may throw in a little bit of Español every now and again, but I will be sure to translate for all who do not yet know this wonderfully useful language.
Thank you to anyone who is joining me in this search for justice. I truly appreciate your time and support, and will be even more appreciative of any and all comments. Please and by all means "call me out", if you will, on any and everything you may disagree with. My goal in this blog is that it not only a learning experience for my readers, but it also (and possibly more so) be a learning experience for me.
