The NCI made a budget request for 5.690 billion dollars per year for 2003.

That’s 5690 million dollars – for one year!
That’s a lot of bread folks! A lot of careers are based on that money. A lot of research is based on that money. A lot of people would be out of a very high-paying job if a cure for cancer suddenly appeared and was recognized by those people who have been entrusted with the resources to stop the scourge of humankind. One has to ask if there is fraud involved here.
The mantra of these people is evidence-based medicine. The evidence they crow about is obtained from very expensive testing protocols that are cost prohibitive for any commonly available herb. It should be noted also that a patent can not be obtained for a plant. Mother Nature got there first. No patent means no profit.
I am going to explore the world of alternative medicine and if I find a cure for my affliction then it will be recorded here. If I do not find a cure then I will have had a much better quality of life than conventional cancer treatment has to offer.
