My latest blood count is 26,400. I have been using the Budwig diet for about 8 months but for breakfast only. In an attempt to decrease my white blood count I have decided to observe the Budwig protocol in its entirety.
The diet is centered on a 1:2 ratio of flaxseed oil to cottage cheese (1/4 cup cottage cheese for each tablespoon flaxseed oil). I take 1/2 cup cottage cheese with 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil and mix it thoroughly in a blender. Then I add some garlic and a piece of banana to improve the taste. I also sprinkle 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed on the mixture. That and a 10-ounce glass of fresh carrot juice for breakfast and the same for supper along with some fresh, leafy vegetables and broccoli. I eat lots of nuts for snacks but no peanuts.
