What Cancer Cells Love

Cancer cells love sugar. Cancer cells get their energy from sugar.

Otto Warburg was awarded the Nobel Prize back in 1931 for this discovery:

"Cancer has only one prime cause. It is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of the body's cells by an anaerobic [i.e., oxygen-deficient] cell respiration." -Dr. Otto Warburg

Because the cancer cells need sugar for their energy source, the cancer patient will often experience a craving for sugar. Soda pop, candy, sweets, and such will be the food of choice. Obviously it will be necessary to curtail the consumption of sugar.

Another quote from the same page:

"The wasting syndrome, cachexia, is the body producing sugar from proteins (you heard it right, not from carbohydrates or fats, but from proteins) in a process called glycogenesis. This sugar feeds the cancer. The body finally dies of starvation, trying to feed the cancer."

It is apparent from the above that cancer cells will find a way to get sugar regardless of the effect on the body. We must learn the ways and means of killing the cancer cells before they kill the patient.
