My Review of Some Alternative Cancer Treatment Sites

I used this opening statement as the conclusion for another article named Forbidden Cures. I use it again because the message bears repeating.

Each of the reviewed sites could generate hours of debate about the validity of the claims made on those sites. The one thing an open-minded person must always keep front and center is the fact that our thinking has been shaped by our education, both formal (schooling) and informal (media) and our life experiences. There is no guarantee that those sources accurately reflect the reality of truth. We either accept the thinking of the majority or we dare to seek and find our own truth. Christopher Columbus found the truth when most scholars insisted the world was flat. Galileo found the truth when established authorities stated that the earth was the center of the universe. Those men dared to think outside-the-box and helped to change the course of history.
