Battle of the Election Whores

Florida, the attention whore of the United States, has returned to old form. Following a lull in media coverage after the successive hurricanes, Floida has returned to a tried and true technique to get back into the spotlight: election screwups.

After Jeb Bush's battles with the Civil Rights industry over provisional ballots and voter roll purges didn't garner enough focus on her, Florida has sunk further. She can't stand to see Ohio doted on as the new girl, so another disaster had to be contrived. Absentee ballots for 58,000 voters have gone missing. To cover her tracks Florida is blaming the Postal Service, but the lie is transparent. U.S. Postal Inspector Del Alverez said of the allegation that the USPS lost them, "It's highly unlikely that 58,000 pieces of mail just disappeared".

Will Florida return to her role as queen of the media whores, or will Ohio put out enough(voters) to become the new media booty call?
