2004-10-11 - Fall colors peak on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Darkness comes earlier and barge searchlights are impressive.

2004-10-09 - George's first run on the Rum River. After the races are over for the season, it's a good time to come and paddle on the Rum with the rat pack led by Keith Canny. These are the times, they are more likely to circle back for newer racers. In any case, it's a beautiful river to canoe.
