April 14 (UPI) -- A "no" vote to the European Constitution would weaken
the EU and benefit the United States, warned French President Jacques
Chirac, Thursday.

China has a great strategy going, do
what you want and when somebody makes you mad because they won't play
by your rules, stamp your feet. Glad to see the Japanese still have
some stones. PS - those really where spontaneous crowds in the streets
Beijing has reacted angrily to Japan's plan to allow gas exploration in
disputed waters, calling it a "serious provocation'' at a time when ties are at
their worst in decades due to a dispute over Tokyo's wartime past.

Think of it, the party of reconcilation with "Red China" is Chiak's party!
Paving the way for a trip to China, it was confirmed yesterday that
Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) Secretary-General Lin Feng-cheng (林豐正) spent the last two days in Beijing arranging the details of KMT Chairman Lien Chan's (連戰) visit.
In response, the Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) reiterated yesterday
that Lien could face legal action upon his return home should he sign
any agreements in China.
