Why Blog?
For my business and personal aspirations. But first business ...
I have 3 passions in life= business management, learning/writing and computer technology. I got a business management degree in 1986 ( and subsequently an MBA) and a diploma in computer science in 1987, and for the last 17 years have combined these knowledge to help companies make the optimized use of computer solutions in business.
Currently, I manage a systems integration company with over 110 employees, and a software development company ( with 2 joint ventures - an American and a Japanese company) that employs about 85 people.
I would like to connect with companies that are looking to Asia for business expertise and computer software resources where we can help you come up with optimized solutions for your business, or for your business' customers. I can help you bring managerial, base technological and financial package if you have the markets and the needs.
You can read more about me here for more information about myself, and read on to know more about my personal life.

Dreams and Visions
But before that, I need to say this...
I have been very blessed.
I have a great family, good friends, and a great time in managing the businesses in the industry that I like. The technology business is among the most exciting, and dynamic.
Maybe this is too early to be thinking of what legacy to leave, but I am nearing 40, and I have been helping in the business in the family since I was 9.
I am thinking how to give back to the community that have given so much to me. Now that I am able to take care of my needs adequately, I would like an opportunity to help others starting at an earlier age than most with hopefully at least another 40 years ...I believe I can contribute my energy, enthusiasm, and experience in making my community a better place.
The following is my long life goal:
1.) to make my 3 children successful. I would not be successful if they are not. They have to be happy, and they have to have great friends. Then I will have done my job.
2.) to do my best to get foreign businesses to set up joint ventures in my city and country. If you are planning to invest in Cebu or in the Philippines ( even if not with me, or in an industry I don't participate in) , I would be glad to be your host ( or introduce you to people) , and show you around. The Philippines have not been very dynamic economically in spite of lots of potential, and we definitely need more foreign investors who see the Philippines as an excellent place to do business, and can contribute jobs . If you have a great business plan, I can even help you in the finance, base technology, and the managerial package.
3.) to speak 7 languages. I speak Mandarin, Fookien ( a chinese dialect) , English, Tagalog ( philippine national language), Cebuano ( a Philippine dialect). I am now learning Japanese and Cantonese ( a chinese dialect).
4.) to write books, and to teach. For now, I write weekly regular articles for the local papers ( going my 10th year). For now this blog...
