An Aspen jury exonerated the Chateau Aspen Condominium Association and McCartney Properties Management Co. in a slip-and-fall complaint on Thursday.

This bill would require every member of a board of directors of the nearly 35,000 homeowners associations (HOA) in the state of California to complete a one-hour course on statutory and case law related to homeowners associations every three years.
