Age of Average truck today What is the average age of trucks on the road in the USA today?
According to a report by a California government official on the age of trucks in America, 35% of all trucks on the road today are more than 10-years old.
As such, the government will be offering up to $100 million in incentives (for a period of 2-years beginning in 2006) for truck owners to upgrade their equipment (or replacement/retrofit programs with tax-exempt incentive payments).
