Venice Digitale

The first Venice Digitale, during the Venice Film Festival went very well. The event included a great cross section of Media and Tech people and the talks/panels were very informative and I enjoyed the ones I was involved in. I look forward to the next one. Digital killed the analogue star Piece in yesterday's Indo covering Future TV innovation in Ireland. Mentions Wildwave, Digisoft, Random Thoughts and the Joosters and Babelgumers..... just one correction - I didn't say that IPTV has to catch up on traditional broadcaster - I said the other way around. I believe that in Ireland there is lots of innovation on the Internet TV/IPTV side but very little on the Traditional broadcast/cable co. side - e.g NTL Digital still has no VOD, Very little IRISH TV content is online or mobile etc etc etc.... 10:16:36 AM  comment []
