Introduction

In this weblog I keep an overview of thoughts about my trading the German DAX future and I also give my trades. I trade futures and CFD's

I basically trade the DAX based on the 60min candles because this timeframe is mostly used by the bigger investors. I call this the "15/60min system". The entry and exit times for these trades are allways intraday.    

To hedge my positions I trade the DAX based on daily candles, also called End Of Day ("EOD" system). These positions are kept for a longer timescale; often days or weeks. The entry time for these trades are allways shortly after 20:00 European time, the exits throughout the day.

For both systems I use Contract For Difference (CFD's), which I hold at  Deal4free. The advantage of using CFD's is that they can be traded after the closing hours of the german bourses so that I can react to the US bourses if necessary. They also enable me a good moneymanagement and riskmanagement.  Already tremendously popular in Great Brittain,  I am convinced that CFD's are the deratives of tomorrow.  More about my system you find here

I trade futures on the FDAX on a daily basis which means that these positions are allways closed before closing bell (daytrading). I take a position one or two times a day at the most, not more. This has to do with discipline a very important and underestimated aspect of trading. I wont give these trades on these pages. If You want to make money in this way I think its reasonable to give me a small fee of 4 daxpoints a month (only 100 euro).
