WiFlyer Dialup WiFi adapter reviewed.
We hate to admit it, but there have been circumstances when even we have been forced to connect to the Internet via
dialup (at the vacation house, say, where there’s no cable modem and DSL isn’t available — ah, the price of solitude).
To add insult to injury, we’re stuck snaking a phone line around the house so we can use our laptop in a convenient
location (out on the deck, natch). So, we can see the need for something like the
WiFlyer, a modem/WiFi router that at least lets dialup
users connect wirelessly like the rest of us. And it looks like the gang at A True Review agree. They’ve tested out the
WiFlyer, and conclude that it does an “excellent job serving up a dial-up account both wired and wirelessly.
