Atomic Mom Atomic Mom This is a link to an interview with M.T. Silvia about a film she is working on about her mother who was a scientist who worked at the Nevada Atomic Test Site in the 1950s. M.T., as she is known, is a very gifted young film maker. The film will probably be released in 2009. I post this interview because you won't find the story in our history books. In 1953 I saw a test that was televised live. After the surface testing of atomic and hydrogen bombs all milk products contained radioactive strontium 90.
