Tap Into Your Higher Intelligence

When we think of intelligence, IQ immediately comes to mind. But IQ may in fact be the most limited aspect of our human intelligence.

Early in the 20th century, the concept of IQ came roaring to the forefront of psychology and education. IQ tests quickly became a popular means of measuring human intelligence.

IQ scores were used to sort people into “levels” of estimated intelligence. The theory was: The higher a person’s IQ, the brighter they were.

The Discovery of EQ
Then in the 1990’s science writer Daniel Goldman wrote a book summarizing years of neuroscience research. The research included in his book – “Emotional Intelligence” – packed a tremendous impact. His book raised emotional intelligence (EQ) to an equal standing with IQ.

IQ versus EQ
IQ is a measure of our familiar “straight-line, analytical intelligence.” Emotional intelligence (EQ), on the other hand, is driven by feelings and intuition. EQ is “associative thinking,” as it allows us to discover associations between our actions, and the results.

And as author Goldman pointed out, our emotional intelligence (EQ) also controls our ability to fully use our IQ intelligence. This occurs because if the areas of the brain in which we “feel” are damaged – we are less able to think effectively.

There is a huge gap between IQ’s straight-line logic and EQ’s associative thinking – and our amazing human capability to think “outside the box.” Neither IQ nor EQ are adequate to explain the full richness of our human intelligence.

The Discovery of HQ
The modern discovery of an even more complex human intelligence first unfolded in the 1990’s, when two neurologists – Wolf Singer and Rodolfo Llinas –began to investigate our brain’s mysterious electro-magnetic fields.

Their work led to the discovery of a previously unidentified form of human intelligence – a very surprising higher intelligence (HQ) that causes our entire cortex (our “thinking center”) to vibrate like a bowl of jello in a single coherent frequency.

During the past few years, exciting research using such high-tech equipment as fMRI and PET scans has proven that these higher intelligence (HQ) whole-brain vibrations are the aspect of our brain we use to aspire to higher levels of achievement and consciousness.

Our higher intelligence (HQ) is the aspect of our intelligence that allows us to create meaning in our lives -- to reach beyond our rational and emotional thinking.

How the Brain Organizes Our Intelligence
Our three intelligences (IQ, EQ and HQ) work both alone … and cooperatively. But each has its own distinct purpose:

** IQ lets us logically analyze a situation.

** EQ lets us judge the emotional meaning of the situation, and select an appropriate response.

** HQ lets us transform the situation by creating an entirely new “reality.”

Each of our three intelligences has quite different physical characteristics.
How HQ is Used
We all have and use HQ. It allows is to not only “make sense” of new situations and conditions, but also to evaluate our lives. And it is the core of all invention and creativity.

Our higher intelligence (HQ) is also our ultimate creative problem-solving intelligence. When you solve a seemingly “insolvable” problem, you are using your HQ to rise beyond your analytical reason and ability to associate.

HQ is also dominant during “ah ha” insights, and spontaneous “spiritual” or “higher meaning” experiences.

How to Develop Your HQ
As with muscular development, some folks have build their HQ through frequent use. Basically such people have made regular use of HQ by searching for connections between situations or events.

These people tend to ask “why,” and to identify and challenge their own assumptions. They look for meaning, and strive to increase their self-awareness. And they seek to create goals leading to a meaningful life-path.

You can refine and develop your own HQ by focusing on the following types of questions:

What is the meaning of my life?

Is there anything I would like to change?

What makes my life truly worth living?

What lifestyle do I want 5 years from today?

The secret is to literally exhaust your rational (IQ) and associative (EQ) intelligences in your search for an answer. Then take a break -- a nap or walk. Your relaxed (and probably exhausted) surrender will bring a wholly unexpected answer to your question. The great creative genius Albert Einstein claimed to have his greatest HQ insights in the shower.

Dr. Jill Ammon-Wexler is the co-creator of the web's first (and only) complete on-line brain gym.

Your Quantum Mind...

Your Quantum Mind...

What you're about to learn may seem totally contrary to what many well known self help “gurus” have told you for years! But it's all based on solid scientific research!

As a success-seeker, you've have probably already read many success-oriented books, and likely also have a collection or two of success CDs.

Here's something you need to know: If you have not yet achieved your goal, YOU are not a failure. It's the books and CDs that have failed you. Here's why:

Becoming a success by reading "about" success is like trying to learn how to swim by reading a book "about" swimming. Such theory is just that - theory!

We now know from quantum science and modern neuroscience that we truly DO create our own reality with our thoughts. But just how does this work, you might wonder?

Let's take a look...

Thoughts Have Physical Reality
Quantum physics has clearly established that everything is basically energy in motion. Your automobile, the walls of your office, your desk, the clothing on your body, your computer – everything is simply energy on the most basic level.

Thought is an interesting phenomenon, and is the same energy in motion. You can compare your thoughts to the sparks rising from a campfire. For although your thoughts contain the essence and potential power of the fire – they exist only briefly, then simply dissipate.

Because a thought lasts only a few second, you may think that a single thought has little power. But here’s where the power of mental focus and repetition enter in: A thought that is repeated with intense focus becomes concentrated mental power – just as sunlight can create fire when focused through a magnifying glass.

The more often a focused thought is repeated, the more energy and power it generates. This is not theory – it’s based on the fact that such a thought creates thousands of new neural connections in the brain.

The Brain Electric
Your brain is basically an electrochemical organ. It uses tiny electrical impulses (brainwaves) to produce and express your mental experiences.

The electrical energy produced by your neurons (brain cells) travels in waves of “on-off” electrical energy. These tiny electrical waves are known as brainwaves.

Some amazing things occur if you learn to control your brainwaves. You can learn to actually create the mental patterns of such super-achievers as self-made millionaires and top competitive athletes and performers.

Build a Super-Achieving Mind
Can YOU actually learn to produce the exact thoughts and physical mental patterns of super-achievers like self-made millionaires or top athletes?

YES! Absolutely!

But you cannot learn this by reading books "about" being a super-achiever or self-made millionaire... or by listening to the superficial "narrow band" type of brainwave training so common in the CD’s being sold online today. That would be like trying to move a mountain with a spoon.

Training your brain to hold super-achiever brainwaves can be compared to remodeling a house. It is best achieved using a planned logical strategy that requires a certain period of time.

The AMP Millionaire MindPower Program tm is a revolutionary new approach to installing the actual brainwaves and thoughts of a super-achiever straight into your brain in the next 90 days ... in the comfort of your own home ... and on your own time!

And this is NOT theory - it is based on 35 years of clinical mind training experience, the latest findings of modern neuroscience, and a radically successful 300+ person beta test.

Ready for a Quantum-Leap?
Click here to watch an inspiring super-achiever 2-minute video!

Stress Reduction Brain Wave Training

In this edition of the Stress Cops PodCast Radio Show we bring you a special article about stress, and how and why so many doctors now recommend brainwave training for stress reduction and stress management.

There are five scientific facts you need to know about stress and your brain.

FACT 1: When you are in the grips of stress, there is a lot of intense stress related electrical activity going on in your brain.

FACT 2: This stress related brain activity can be measured using EEG (electro-encephalography) technology. EEG has been around since the 1930's.

FACT 3: Depending on what you are doing about your stress, this electrical activity goes through changes. If you manage to relax, your brainwaves are suddenly very different than when you are deep in the grips of intense stress, or trying to solve a complex mental problem.

FACT 4: There is now definite scientific proof that stress actually kills brain cells. And the cumulative effect of chronic stress is reduced mind power, less mental clarity, impaired judgment, and serious memory losses!

FACT 5: If you can learn to change your stress brainwave patterns, you will be able to create experience instant stress relief, more memory power, and even a higher IQ.

The Scientific Evidence
Problem 1. Loss of Brain Tissue from Stress
University of California at San Francisco researchers report that stress causes a serious loss of brain tissue (from brain cell death). And Washington University School of Medicine researchers report that even mild flare-ups of psychological stress damage memory and brain functions.

A major National Institute of Health study shows that even mild stress releases a brain enzyme linked to bipolar (manic-depressive) disorder. This explains why stress leads to disturbed thinking, impaired judgment, impulsivity, and the distractibility so common when you are stressed.

Solution:
Over 40 years of research and clinical studies into stress have proven that brainwave training can immediately reduce your stress, repair the damage, and train your brain to avoid future stress related damage. It is the ultimate stress management tool.

Problem 2: Physical Brain Shrinkage
Many researchers have found that certain stress related thinking patterns damage thinking and memory, and even result in physical brain shrinkage.

Dr Lupien of McGill University in Montreal studied brains scans of 92 people over 15 years. The brains of those experiencing the stress of low self-esteem had shrunk to 20% smaller than those who felt optimistic and good about themselves. The high stress individuals with low self-esteem also performed far worse in memory and learning tests.

Solution:
Research has proven your brain is capable of full recovery from stress. It is actually plastic, and with the correct stimulation can continue to correct the ravages of stress and expand, even into advanced age.

Researchers Siegfried and Othmer report that a regime of brainwave training can yield a 23% increase in IQ, plus substantial increases in self-esteem, motivation and stress free energy.

How Brainwave Training Works
There are two answers to immediate stress reduction: Pharmaceutical drugs, and correctly-engineered brainwave training.

Drugs build dependency, and do not solve the problem. Brainwave training, on the other hand, rapidly melts your stress and actually trains your brain to avoid future stress related brain damage.

What is Brainwave Training
In the simplest possible terms, brainwave training causes your brain to copy the brainwaves of happy, high-achieving, creative, successful individuals.

The immediate benefits include: Instant stress reduction, increased IQ and mental clarity, better mental focus and creativity, and even a reduction of headaches and insomnia.

The long-term benefit is that your brain is actually being trained to create these stress free mental states and habits all on its own. In addition to the extreme stress free relaxation brainwave training provides, you will build brainwave patterns proven to decrease the frequency and severity of stress -- and even overcome it altogether.

How Brainwave Training Works
Your brain is an electro-chemical organ. When a neuron (brain cell) is stimulated, it released a tiny electrical charge. Since billions of your neurons are constantly firing electrically, an electrical wave is creates – a brainwave.

Brainwave stress reduction training stimulates your brain using a well-understood process called brainwave entrainment. You experience a simple form of stress reduction brainwave entrainment when you watch a flickering fire, or listen to certain music.

What happens is that your neurons (brain cells) begin to fire in-time to the music or flickering flames – just like tapping your foot to music. The after about 6 seconds, your brain starts to reproduce the rhythm internally all by itself. This natural response is called brainwave entrainment.

Brainwave Training for Instant Stress Reduction

In this edition of the Stress Cops PodCast Radio Show we bring you a stress free living article by pioneer brain/mind researcher and Stress Cop Dr Jill Ammon-Wexler. Learn what happens in your brain when you experience stress, and how to make your brain stress free. Discover an amazing secret of virtually instant stress reduction and stress management, and how you can benefit and begin to live a stress free life.

Stress has become a hot topic today because of its connection to several life threatening diseases and conditions. But stress is not what happens to us. It is our reaction or response to what is happening around (or within) us.

Stress is connected to measurable brain state that can be easily re-programmed to produce a stress free life. Here is how that works:

The human brain is not the mystery it once was. Modern neuroscience has provided insights and tools that have revealed amazing insights into how our brains work.

Your brain is a biochemical/electrical structure, and emits measurable electrical waves tied to specific mental states. Just as watching a flickering fire causes your brainwaves to slow and relax, engineered external sound stimulation also encourages your brain to relax into certain highly beneficial electrical patterns.

This is called brainwave entrainment, and is a proven method of actually training your brain to accomplish such things as: instant stress reduction, enhanced creativity, and even higher states insights and experiences.

Stress and Your Brain
When you experience stress you are actually experiencing a very distinct brain condition. This condition is marked by what we call Beta brainwaves. Beta brainwaves vibrate on the average from about 15 to 30 Hz, or cycles per second.

There is nothing inherently wrong with beta brainwaves. These are the same brain frequencies you normally use anytime you are talking or using your mind to try to solve a problem using the tools of logic.

But a problem can occur when these brainwaves become predominant and begin to spike into higher frequencies ? and even override the contribution your more relaxed Alpha brainwaves are designed to offer.

Your Stress Free Brainwaves
Alpha brainwaves vibrate slower that Beta brainwaves -- between 7.5 and 13 Hz. These brainwaves are present alpha brainwaves when you are alert and relaxed, and not actively processing mental information. Alpha waves are usually strongest over your occipital (back of the head) and frontal cortex.

Alpha brainwaves are mentally integrative, promote mental resourcefulness, and allow you accomplish tasks in a calm, non stress manner. I personally feel alpha provides the bridge between the conscious and subconscious parts of your mind.

Alpha brainwaves rise from the white matter of your brain -- the ?carriage? connecting all the parts of your brain together ? and seem to be related to the highly desirable whole brain thinking experience.
You can increase alpha by closing your eyes or deep breathing.

Alpha brainwaves are linked to:
? Extroversion -- Introverts have fewer alpha brainwaves,
? Stress Free Living ? Alpha-dominated brainwave states lead straight to very positive stress management capabilities,
? Whole Brain Thinking ? The recently-discovered ?higher states? phenomenon in which your entire cortex vibrates at one integrated frequency.

Alpha Brainwave Training
Properly engineered Alpha brainwave training creates an immediate shift from high stress beta brainwaves ? to stress free Alpha brainwaves. This supports clear thinking, and an immediate increase in sensation and self-control.

But the benefits of this sort of brainwave training go far beyond the immediate benefits ? as a regular practice of Alpha brainwave training actually teaches your brain to reproduce this highly beneficial brain state on its own.

Specially-engineered Alpha stress busting brainwave training is included in the online Quantum Brain Gym. For more detailed information on how your brain operates, and the uses of brainwave training to optimize your mental functioning, refer to The Secret World of BrainWaves, available in the Quantum Brain Gym free of charge.
