I'm going to be a daddy...again.

Exciting news to be sure. My wife and I are ecstatic about it. In just a short number of days we will find out the sex of the baby then the name games take full force. I'm pushing for Patricia Louise, but I know it is a losing battle.

Linspire Fix

Linspire has fixed their kernel. Wine now works the way it is intended. My Laptop is now running with my preferred OS, Linspire. If you haven't tried them out I recommend downloading freespire and giving it a try. I use the commercial version because I like the product and I want to see continue to produce a quality product. <br></a>

Just loaded up Ubuntu 7.1 Gutsy

Currently I am running Ubuntu 7.10. So far I am quite fond of this OS, though I still prefer the now based on Ubuntu Freespire / Linspire. I say I like these, because they have taken the time to obtain legally proprietary software that others have not. Such as the rights to some Microsoft Fonts, windows media api, adobe and java. As well as commercial drivers.

As for Ubuntu 7.10 Wine works on this flawlessly for my uses which is in fact how I am using Radio. Also Compiz works well. Of course there is that wonderful lack of viruses that you find in any Linux OS as well. I will tell more as my relationship with this flavor matures. So far however quite satisfied with Ubuntu Gutsy.

Back Up And Running

It has been a long time since my last post. Sadly I have lost all of my old postings but I am back up and running again, hoorah. For those of you who do not know me or what I write about it is a combination of things.

Our first subject matter is concerning the matter of Christianity, note I do not say religion Christianity is not a religion it is a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Second major topic is Political Discourse. Third is Family. The Fourth falls into the Category of Linux. And finally I of course will discuss the game of Chess.
