Let's Make Change Happen

I know that today is absolutely critical to the future of the United States. Our government no longer listens to it's people, we are as citizens without a voice. Our representatives Senators and Congressmen listen only to money they have given their ear to the lobbest. What if we all traveled to Washington while our legislators were in session and stood right outside demanding our elected representatives to come out and listen to us? would be arrested?

What if we demanded an independent investigation into the loss of billions of dollars from the Pentagon? What if we demanded an end to reckless spending? Ladies and gentlemen this is our country the government is supposed to be working for us not special interest. Does your representative listen to you? can you even speak directly to your representative? Can you visit him in his office?

Our government his spent us into a debt hole that will be impossible for us to repay. We must make ourselves heard! I urge everyone to call your senators and congressmen don't settle for answers that don't make sense.

What if, instead of attacking countries that can't even defend themselves, we spent money on building the worlds best defense system, Stop solving problems with money and force and use common sense and diplomacy to help our neighbors. Accept their different customs and religion and instead of forcing them to change instead set an example for them to duplicate.

Please think about the future your children will face when instead of friends and allies throughout the world they will be hated and feared.  Thanks for your indulgence.  Bill

Please let me know what you think on this matter. It seems that it will apply to states that voted down the one card federal id. What is happening to Free America ??

Hello, This morning I decided to do something I seldom do, watch TV.  Completely by accident I clicked on a documentary that had just begun. I have never seen a more moving piece of film, I mean it.  The subject was the work of Jim Natchwey.  Jim is famous for his work documenting the tragedy of wars,famine, human cruelty throughout the world.  I could not stop watching as this amazing human being risked his life bringing to anyone who will watch the truth of human tragedy, his work is art.  He has covered and photographed the ongoing and overlooked condition of people who live in conditions that are un-human beyond imagination, what you might invision as hell on earth.  And I am worried about making enough money to pay a house payment or take a vacation!!  The film is a life changing one, it's not easy to watch, you will probably cry if you have any empathy left in you.  You will as I did be comparing if that is possible, what you see in human suffering to your current situation, and you will feel guilty. How can we as fellow human beings stand by as these ongoing human sufferings continue.  I am sure Jim who I don't know personally wonders why aren't we paying more attention to the undescriable conditions of poor people all over the world. You won't see the truth on network television, in fact after watching this film you may feel as I do helpless and guilty.  Then imagine that our own government could care less, and if fact has helped cause much of this suffering as have all other countries.  We must do something to change our way of thinking and living. I was so moved that I cannot remember which channel I watched this documentary on.  I will find out and post it. Why our we as a country involved in war? look at the huge amounts of money being spent to increase human suffering, surely intelligent people can find a better answer.  Take a good look at how we live, look at what's important to us as indivuals. Most of us given the chance are ability would help, but were to busy!  I am no different what can I do?  Since most of us can't actually go to help these people we must demand that our governmnent and all the govenments in the world help these people know, stop spending untold amounts of money we don't have fighting wars for no good reason.  Think of the good we could do with our combined resources. Just imagine the wealth we have spent just on the Iraq campaign. Sorry for rambling, thanks for reading. Bill  oh here's a link to his site  http://www.jamesnachtwey.com ;

No I haven't been sick, but I have been to the Doctor...Now I am sick!
Hello, I haven't posted in a few days. Today I would like to share a pharmacy,doctor drama. It goes like this I have been taking blood pressure medicine for years and for the last 5 or 6 years I have had the same prescription Lisinopril. Well on Wednesday visited Walgreens to get a refill,got one but not the lisinopril (may not be spelled correctly) the lady at the counter told me that my doctor had denied the prescription!! and I am out and now I am mad. Phoned the doctors office he's out to lunch. His girl confirmed that yes he had denied me my blood pressure medicine. I am Livid, keep in mind that know one had written or called or notified me in anyway that I wouldn't be able to have my prescription filled. Oh by the way ,from my house to the pharmacy is a 60 mile round trip. His assistant goes on to say that I must come in before he will refill my scrip!! remember I am out and I still don't have any blood pressure medicine, borrowed some from my wife. Am I wrong does anyone else think that this is not a good way to handle a drug that I need, it's not a narcotic? wouldn't a good businessman at least give you some notice? and how hard would it have been to just write the pharmacy that this would be the last time it would be filled? Does anyone besides me notice that putting the patient or customer first is No More.Now it's all about the dollar, first they fill the waiting room knowing full well that they don't have time to see everyone, but what the heck you can wait. Well I won't be waiting in his office again I'll wait in the doctors office who won't cancel my prescription without warning, just to get another office call. Thanks for your patience

According To The AARP Bulletin 50 Plus Boomers Are Self Employed Over 3 Million

Now I can relate to that. Many of you already know how hard it is find a job when you retire or get booted out.  I am one of the self employed, I started a little corporation Star Video Security Inc. we sell covert cameras, small business camera systems, and home camera systems. We also give free advice and planning so that many people are able to install the equipment themselves.  Please let me know if your looking for Security Video setups  I will be glad to assist. I believe that in many ways video is a better deterrent than an alarm, that is when you let the bums know they will be on camera. for info mailto:wnfco@cwis.net

Finally February has arrived, for us here in Eastern Oklahoma that means more cold weather for at least a few more weeks.  Next year I will cut and stack more firewood. As slow as I am getting it will take all spring and part of summer. Let me know what your doing if your self employed I would love to hear from you.

Hello,Friday was a milestone for me...
I drove to the social security office and told them the truth..I am 62 years old and I want my money! They said so do we.  I made it, many who know me including myself didn't think it was possible.  Truthfully it's good to be here but in some ways it seems like...wow I am really getting old.  Today just to make sure I still could, my wife and I cut firewood, well actually  she cut the wood. I showed her how.  Today was absolutely beautiful sunshine on the water and all of these birds, ducks,gulls, pelicans, and those black birds no one likes that look like ducks? someone let me know what they are called. See you soon
